# AML Checker

> A built-in tool for checking a crypto wallet address before transacting: a risk score across 19 blockchains and 14 stablecoins, with sanctions, mixer, scam and hack exposure.

The AML Checker is part of the RWANFTFI application: open the **AML** tab in the sidebar or go to [app.rwanftfi.com/aml-checker](https://app.rwanftfi.com/aml-checker). Checking a counterparty address before sending or receiving funds helps avoid interacting with addresses linked to sanctions, mixers, scams or hacks.

## How to run a check

**1. Connect**

Connect your wallet in the application.

**2. Choose the network and check type**

Select the blockchain and the type of check.

**3. Enter the address**

Paste the wallet address you want to check and press **Check**.

**4. Choose a package and pay**

Pick a package and confirm the payment.
