# Platform Features

## Secret Code

The Secret Code is a random word generated together with the financial password. It is required for any security-related request to support: without it, support cannot act on such a request.

> **Keep the Secret Code private.** Share it only with official support, and only when you make a security request. Never share it in chats, comments or private messages.

## Messenger and private Web3 chats

The built-in messenger shows the exact time of every message. Its **Private Web3 chats** mode adds end-to-end encryption on the XMTP protocol.

| Property | How it works |
| - | - |
| Encryption | Messages are encrypted on the device with MLS (IETF RFC 9420). |
| Storage | Messages are not stored on the platform's servers. |
| Identity | The EVM wallet is the identity; one gasless signature per device enables the mode. |
| Independent review | The libxmtp library has been audited by NCC Group. |

> The mode protects the content of messages; it does not make users anonymous. Encryption applies to new messages sent in this mode.

## Referral links

Every participant has a permanent referral code. Referral links use one format:

`share.rwanftfi.com/?ref=CODE`

The old link format no longer works: it was replaced in August 2026 because of a link-delivery issue in Telegram.
